The California State Fire Marshal's Office of State Fire Training course S190 Introduction to Wildland Fire Behavior, will be incorporated into the curriculum of F SC 55. Students successfully completing the S190 course will receive a certification of completion from the State Fire Marshal. There is a fee of $25 for this certification from the State Fire Marshal's Office.
FSC 105A-001 required concurrent enrollment with F SC 111. Add stickers will be issued for F SC 105A during initial meeting of F SC 111 (at the Airport Campus-6 p.m., Classroom 008, North Access Road, South San Francisco 94128).
All class meetings are mandatory and meet at CCSF Airport Campus classroom #8 from 5-7 p.m. 1st Monday of school (Orientation & Assignments are made); 9th week of school on the Wednesday (Resume writing seminar); and 16th week of school on the Friday (Collect reports and equipment). F SC 105A-001 required concurrent enrollment-add stickers issued with F SC 111 on first night of class of F SC 111. F SC 105A closed until first official night of F SC 111. There will be a MANDATORY pre-academy meeting on Monday, August 15th at 6 p.m. at the Airport Campus, Classroom 008. Students enrolled in this class MUST attend this mandatory meeting or they will be dropped from F SC 111. Additional student fees as follows: (1) State Fire Training for specialized courses as part of Fire Academy; (2) clothing requirements for fire academy (Safety Equipment and Uniforms). F SC 50, F SC 55, F SC 62 PE 29 and F SC 17 (or EMT) are enforced as prerequisites for the Fire Academy. Students successfully enrolled in F SC 111 are required to check their ccsf.mail.edu email account regularly and often for important Fire Academy information. Additional instruction time may be required to meet State Fire Training Firefighter One (2013 version) program guidelines.
