Lauren and Kelly Hickey began their collegiate careers at the Santa Rosa
Junior College. They earned many accolades at Santa Rosa including All-American
Honors both years they competed. The twins won the Northern California Doubles
Regional title in 2006 earning them a berth at the ITA Small College National
Championships were they placed fourth. Among their most exciting honor was
placing 2nd in the doubles draw at the prestigious Ojai Valley Tournament two
years in a row, along with being ranked #1 in doubles for the state for most of
their sophomore season. They finished their college careers at the University of
San Francisco were they earned scholar athlete honors both years. Active in
both athletics, and academics they were members of student athlete advisory
council their senior year. They are still very active competing in USTA adult leagues
year round.
