"I was born and raised in El Salvador..."

I got my BS in Clinical Pathology from the Medical School of the National University of El Salvador in 1983. Then I became a faculty member of Department of Pathology in the school of Medicine at the National University of El Salvador. Even though my field is laboratory medicine, I've always wanted to work as a teacher because I enjoy helping and providing instruction to others, especially those in need.

I feel most excited working in the ESL-Citizenship Grant and to be part of the Project VOICE team.
