I went to CCSF
and transferred to SFSU where I graduated with
a BA in Liberal Studies, a Multiple Subject
and Reading Specialist Credential and a Master
in Billingual Education. I have taught Spanish
and English literacy, citizenship, ESL, Reading
and GED math for the past 22 years at Mission
Campus for the Transitional Studies Dept. I
am presently teaching an Oral & Written
Communication Class at Mission and GED at Ocean
Campus.
I love to read,
laugh, have heartfelt conversations, form communities
and work with people on projects. I strongly
believe in the potential of people and that
the "function of education is to teach
one to think intensively and critically. Intelligence
