The Food Drive Project - Fall 2001

The Mission Campus Food Drive goal lasted three weeks and consisted in collecting four barrels of food and $1,000 for the San Francisco Food Bank.

Steps

• Let the students know about the food drive.

• Allow students to come around your class to talk up the food drive.

• Talk to your students about hunger and why some people in San Francisco do not have enough food.

• Invite someone from SF Food Bank into your class to do Hunger 101.

• Sponsor an event with your students such us a bake sale or flea market to raise money to donate to the food drive.

• Checks can be made out to SF Food Bank.
