goal lasted three
weeks and consisted in collecting four barrels
of food and $1,000 for the San Francisco Food
Bank.
Steps
- Let the students know about the food drive.
- Allow students to come around your class
to talk up the food drive.
- Talk to your students about hunger and why
some people in San Francisco do not have enough
food.
- Invite someone from SF Food Bank into your
class to do Hunger 101.
- Sponsor an event with your students such
us a bake sale or flea market to raise money
to donate to the food drive.
- Checks can be made out to SF Food Bank.
