Curriculum Modules


City college of San Francisco ESL-Citizenship Grant combines civic education context and language development and learning into modules that:

  • Organize content into a contextual framework based on academic knowledge and common good.
  • Teach the value and principles of the common civic culture and the common good.
  • Use contextual subject matter as the basis of learning and introducing civic education principles.
  • Transform classes into learner-centered and learner-driven education experiences.

Project VOICE is developing and has categorized the curriculum modules as follows:
