The following lesson plans have been developed by the Project VOICE Team after an extensive review of literature on civic education, Project-based Learning, SCANS and EFF.

With these lesson plans, Project VOICE instructors intend to offer the students significant content that will serve to promote the goals of civic education in which the students gain:

• Understanding of government, laws, history, and community.
• Improvement of the listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in English.
• Participation in language experience activities in which they have the opportunity to express their option about important social and political issues.
