Survey of CCSF VESL teachers

I originally mailed surveys to 45 teachers asking:

  • What materials they are using that they highly recommend
  • What materials they could use but are unable to find

23 teachers responded to his survey, recommending many published and unpublished materials which I have noted in this report. The major need expressed by these respondents was for more vocation-specific low-level lessons.

As a result of my initial survey, I was put into contact with new and former VESL teachers who referred me to additional materials (including low-level, vocation-specific materials) to add to my list. VESL is clearly a growing field. I continue to receive input and suggestions from teachers and will continue to expand and modify this list after this report is published.
