1. DON'T BE SHY
We have talked to many people about this project who have modestly proclaimed that they don't have any lessons on Tolerance, only to find out that they have GREAT LESSONS on this topic.2. DON'T BE A PERFECTIONIST
This is not a TESOL presentation you're submitting here. You can contribute anything. For example, perhaps you have used a lesson from a book. You can just refer our viewers to the book and the lesson. If you want to add a few notes about what you did with that lesson in your class, great! If you want to contribute a lesson, activity or discussion topic that is not in written form, that's O.K., too. Just write a description of the activity. We like paperless lesson plans. The trees do too.3. DON'T INFRINGE ON COPYRIGHT LAWS
If this material was created by someone else, ask permission from that person, give credit or simply refer viewers to the book, song, etc. For more information, you can also check The Copyright Website.4. GRAPHICS ARE O.K.
If your lessons include pictures, we can probably scan them in.5. IF POSSIBLE, TYPE YOUR LESSON PLAN IN SIMPLE TEXT (or any word processing program), AND E-MAIL IT TO US OR GIVE IT TO US ON DISK. If you need technical help, please ask. If you are a credit instructor at Phelan campus, you can give your submissions to Katarina Mijatovic (L518) or Nancy Husari (L529). Preferred method of submission: Put a disk in an envelope and slip it under Nancy's or Katarina's office door (Batmale 529). You can also send it as an attachment in an e-mail to kmijatov@ccsf.edu or nhusari@ccsf.edu. No hard copies please! For non-credit submissions, contact Venette Cook at: vcook@ccsf.edu
6. CONTRIBUTE STUDENT WRITING on any topic related to Tolerance. See the Student Forum Page for examples. Submit student writing in the format given above.
