September 11, 2001

The terrible events of September 11 need no introduction. The creators of this website believe that this tragedy has created an increased need for awareness of and attention to the subject of tolerance (for lack of a better word). Hopefully this section of the Lessons in Tolerance website is the beginning of a rich source of lessons, student writing, teacher writing, and links that will help us understand the past and present of 9-11, and it will help us find some viable solutions for our collective future. Students and teachers can contribute writing and links. Teachers can contribute lesson plans.
