The Creative Work Fund
Launched in 1994, the Creative Work Fund was designed to celebrate the
region's artistic excellence by supporting local artists, fostering partnerships
between artists and organizations, and sponsoring the creation of new
art works. The program is supported equally by the Columbia Foundation,
the Evelyn and Walter Haas, Jr. Fund, the Miriam and Peter Haas Fund,
and the Walter and Elise Haas, Jr. Fund. To date it has awarded a total
of $4.1 million to 130 projects with grants ranging in size from $10,000
to $35,000.
