Placement in 120 or completion of ESL 110 with a final grade of C or higher.  Intended to be taken concurrently with ESL 122, Low intermediate Linstening/Speaking

More Grammar Practice 2, Cengage, 2nd ed.

Recommended: Longman Advanced American Dictionary w/CD

 

COURSE CONTENT

This is a course in academic reading and writing skills.  Students will practice reading and writing acacemic paragraphs, short essays and reports using low-intermediate grammar and vocabulary.

December 13 - ESL Dept. Final Exam (8-12pm)

ATTENDANCE                      

Students are required to attend class regularly and on time.  Any student absent more than 8 times may be dropped from class. Two instances of being late10 minutes or more equal one absence. Students are responsible for all work assigned in their absence. Work handed in late without a coupon may receive a lower grade.
