PREREQUISITES
Placement in ESL 132 or completion of ESL 122 with a grade of Credit or C or higher; intended to be taken with ESL 130.

COURSE CONTENT

Introduction to academic listening and speaking skills and strategies. Oral communication activities and oral presentations with intermediate-level vocabulary and grammatical structures. The emphasis is on participation, communication and content, particularly on exchange of information, opinions, and explanations.

You will be required to interact with your teacher and with all of your classmates in pairs, small groups, and whole-group activities in ENGLISH only.  Regular attendance is important.
