Please Note:
The face-to-face Mandatory Orientation will start promptly at 10:00am. Students missing the orientation will not be able to take the class, very sorry. Please know that you have to attend the ENTIRE orientation otherwise you  will not be able to take the online hybrid section of this class. A face-to-face section of this class is also offered. Please check the CCSF Fall Schedule for days and times.

You will get logon information during the orientation. The course will not be available until then. However, if you want to peak into a previous class to check out the information, please e-mail me at <rrowland@ccsf.edu> or <regina@reginarowland.com>. You do not need to contact me ahead of time, just come to the orientation. Any adds can be taken care of during that time as well, and I will accept ALL students, so not to worry about space.

Please visit <http://www.ccsf.edu/Departments/Distance_Education/students.htm> for minimum Hardware and Software Requirements, FAQs about distance learning, links to DPSP and CCSF resources, and a short self evaluation for being an online student. For this class, you will need to feel comfortable working on your computer daily, checking e-mails, uploading and downloading word files, pdf files, and jpg files, and discussing concepts in a virtual environment. This class is designed and facilitated in a way that requires collaborating in teams, and is based on project-based learning as well as readings and sharing your ideas with your team and the rest of the class. While you will be introduced to the online environment it will be up to you to pick up any lacking skills in regards to working on the computer and with commonly used word processing programs and file sharing systems (pdf, jpgs).

Students who need academic accommodations should request them from the Disabled Students Programs and Services (DSPS) located in the Rosenberg Library, Room 323 on the Ocean Campus. DSPS is the campus office responsible for verifying disability-related need for academic accommodations, assessing that need, and planning accommodations in cooperation with students and instructors as needed and consistent with course requirements.
