CCSF Insight
City College is no longer using WebCT for online classes. The college is now using a new online learning system called Insight. If you are new to Insight, I suggest that you read the student support documents on the CCSF Insight home page, before entering class. I believe those of you who are former WebCT users will have no problems adjusting to Insight. However, to make sure that your transition is smooth, I suggest that you read the the student support documents on the CCSF Insight home page before entering class.

Sign in Deadline:
Students who have not signed into class by 8:00 pm on Friday, August 28 will be dropped from the class.

All students enrolled the online sections of ACCT 2, ACCT 53, and ACCT 57 were sent a 'Welcome' email on Friday, August 14. If you are an enrolled student who has NOT received this email, please read the 'Welcome' email below.

Welcome to ACCT # Online!

To All Students Enrolled in ACCT # Online:

This e-mail is to confirm your enrollment in an online section of --- Accounting. The online section of --- Accounting opens at 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 18. You will not be able to access class until that time. The orientation for class is online. There is not a face to face orientation. Your first assignments in class include the completion of the online orientation and introducing yourself in the Introduction Forum. Students who have not signed into class by 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 27 will be dropped from the class.

To access Insight, you'll need to log into the web site with a user name and password.

1. If you have not used Insight at City College this academic year, you will receive an email to the email address you have registered in WebStars containing information for how to login to Insight and access this course. Please look for this email (it is from moodle@ccsf.edu) to be delivered to you around the first day of classes.

2. If you have taken an online course in Insight at City College this academic year, you can use your old user name and password.
