Online Students and WebCT

The information below is only applicable to students who are registered in the class. If you have not registered, you may do so (provided there is space available) through the standard online registration process.

If you have already registered, please be sure to do the following:

1. Send me an email (mkennedy@ccsf.edu) verifying your registration.

2. Log into the course by the end of the first week of the semester to secure your spot in the course. Given the demand for online sections, you may be dropped if you do not show your intent to take the course.

Once you are enrolled and registered, you will access all the course information over the Internet using your web browser through a system called WebCT. You'll need to log in to the website with a username and password. First, go to CCSF online. If you have taken an online course at City College of San Francisco, you can use your old username and password. If you have not taken an online course, you will use your Student ID (for example, W88888888, or if your Student ID number is @888888, then you'll use X888888.) Your initial password is set to "changeme". You will be required to change your password the first time you access the system.

Orientation and Course Availability

There is no in person orientation for this class, nor are there any class sessions on campus. In other words, Anthropology 20 is 100% online. Orientation information will be covered during week one. The course will be available to access no later than the first day of spring semester instruction, January 12.

Student Services

Students who need academic accommodations should request them from the Disabled Students Programs and Services (DSPS) located on the main campus (Ocean Campus) in Rosenberg Library Building, Room 323. Telephone numbers are 415/452-5481 (V) and 415/452-5451 (TDD). DSPS is the campus office responsible for verifying disability-related need for academic accommodations, assessing that need, and for planning accommodations in cooperation with students and instructors as needed and consistent with course requirements. Click on DSPS homepage for further information.
