UPDATE: The next cycle will start again in Fall 2012!
ALL prospective students are required to take the pre-requisite 1-unit course HOEC 98 "Introduction to Dietetics Profession" offered ONLY in the Fall semester. Acceptance to the program occurs AFTER successful completion of HOEC 98. A maximum of 30 qualified students will be accepted to the NA Program AFTER completion of HOEC 98. If the number of students exceed the maximum of 30, acceptance will be based on attendance, academic performance, and prioritized by earliest registration date.
IMPORTANT: For Fall 2012, register yourself as a new or continuing CCSF student. When time comes to register for classes, it is your (the student's) responsibility to enroll yourself into HOEC 98 "Intro to Dietetics Profession" in a timely manner. HOEC 98 also serves as orientation to the program. The next two courses of the sequence, HOEC 99 & HOEC 100 will start in mid-September 2012- those students continuing in the program will register for those two courses at that time. In the meantime, we keep registration closed for HOEC 99 & HOEC 100.
Tips to prepare yourself: develop your computer skills, public speaking skills, math skills, take HOEC 107 (Intro to Child Nutrition) or HOEC 108 (Sports Nutrition) as elective courses to enhance your knowledge, any volunteer experience in health field.
Be sure to thoroughly review the following if you are considering enrolling this fall. This is a vocational program and requires your full commitment. All the relevant information is provided here.
