Dynamics of Mass Communication, 12th Edition, by Joseph Dominick, et al (McGraw Hill).   Do not get any other edition except the 12th as other versions will not correspond appropriately to course materials, study plan, quizzes and exams.  If you search online and find something referred to as the “international edition” this is fine – the only difference is the cover, the content is all the same.  Just make sure it is the 12th edition!!!  Used copies are fine, and you do NOT need the cd rom or online access code that are occasionally offered with the book at a higher price.

NEW!!! An electronic version of the textbook can be rented for the semester. The rental cost is considerable less than the cost of purchasing the book. See www.coursesmart.com to search for available books, or click HERE to be taken directly to our textbook's page - remember, you must have the 12th edition.

Regardless of where you get your text, please ensure that you have it by the start of term. Extensions and make ups will not be permitted.  If your book is delayed, copies are available on reserve at the Rosenberg Library.

The syllabus and all pertinent course documents are available online only to registered students.
