Course Objectives: Learn to adapt the vocabulary and grammar to personalized situations and to become more familiar with the Hispanic Culture.

Class and lab Attendance: You are required to attend class . If you are absent excessively, the instructor may drop you from the course. If the last day for withdrawal has passed, he may give you a final grade of F.
Part of your weekly homework time should include about two hours in the language lab in the second floor of the New Labrary. You should request an orientation tape which will teach you how to use the lab.
Summit a record of your practice to Prof. Toruño . Your could buy the tapes for additional practice at home.

Class Materials:Texts lessons from 1 to 6 for Spanish 1  Lab exercices.
Study all assigned materials with care and be prepared to do the text exercises without hesitation. Practice outside of the class if possible.
Language lab manual.

Exams: There will be quizzes during the course. There is no opportunity to make up a quiz that you have missed. There will be a mid-term and a final examination.
Your final grade will be an estimation of how much you have learned during the semester.
