BCST 150
SPECIAL PROJECTS
PREREQUISITES
This is an independent study course intended for advanced electronic media students. Students must schedule a conference with a Broadcast Electronic Media Arts  instructor to propose a Special Project. After the project is approved by the instructor, the student may add BCST 150.
TEXTBOOKS
There are no required textbooks.  Equipment manuals are available to students as required for approved projects.
SYLLABUS
In lieu of a syllabus, students will prepare a written proposal, project treatment, script, equipment/facilities request, and production timeline with specific benchmark dates.  Both student and instructor will have a copy of these materials on file. Midterm and final grades will be based on how the written proposal is implemented.
COURSE ANNOUNCEMENTS
Students must schedule a conference with the instructor to propose a Special Project.  After the project receives written approval, arrangements will be made for the student to register in the class.
COURSE RESOURCES
Broadcast Electronic Media Arts equipment, labs, and facilities are available to students by arrangement for approved Special Projects.
