Spanish 1A-ONLINE: Mandatory orientation, Monday January 12, 6:00-7:30 PM in Rosenberg Library, R205-E, Ocean Campus; OR Saturday January 17, 10 AM-Noon, Library Rm. 408, Mission Campus; OR online self-guided orientation on January 10-16. Final exam is in-person in late May on Ocean Campus. Textbook is Plazas, lugar de encuentros that is available in a special package with BOOK KEYS to open online accounts. It is sold in the CCSF bookstore and at the publisher''s website. You must email the instructor after enrolling in this class.

BIOGRAPHY
My passion for learning Spanish started in high school. I developed fluency as a university freshman in Mexico City in 1964. My B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature is from the University of California at Berkeley in 1968. My M.A. in Spanish Language and Literature is from California State University at Chico in 1974. My family and I lived in Mexico City in the late seventies while I taught English as a Foreign Language. I have traveled frequently to Spain, Costa Rica and Mexico, especially Mexico City, Guanajuato and Oaxaca.
