BIOGRAPHY
My passion for learning Spanish started in high school. I developed fluency as a university freshman in Mexico City in 1964. My B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature is from the University of California at Berkeley in 1968. My M.A. in Spanish Language and Literature is from California State University at Chico in 1974. My family and I lived in Mexico City in the late seventies while I taught English as a Foreign Language. I have traveled frequently to Spain, Costa Rica and Mexico, especially Mexico City, Guanajuato and Oaxaca. I have taught at City College of San Francisco since 1981.  Click here to go to my "Faculty in Review" page.
