Students in Spanish 2 and 2A in the fall of 2007 with me need the textbook and Student Activity Manual (SAM) for Nexos, Media Edition. The CCSF bookstore sells new and used copies. In Spanish 1 we must cover Chapters 1-6, and in Spanish 2 we plan to cover Chapters 7-12, maybe a little more. Do not buy a used SAM that has the chapters you need to do already completed by the previous student owner. It wastes your money and time.

The package that includes the new copy of the textbook and SAM for Nexos, Media Edition also includes passcodes to create access accounts to an eBook version of the text and an online interactive version of the SAM. The passcodes can only be used once! Students in a traditional classroom course may want to have the benefits of technologically enhanced study tools. The eBook has all the video for the program, all the in-text audio, many self-correcting versions of the in-text exercises, electronic flashcards, and much more. The online SAM has all workbook and lab manual material, including the language lab audio files. Here too, many activities are self-correcting. Students in Spanish 2 who already have Eduspace and Quia accounts will be able to continue accessing them for a total of 18 months.
