ENTERING THE BUILDING TO SWIM:
Enter through the main first floor PE LOCKER ROOMS. No pre-class swimming is allowed.
ENTERING THE BUILDING TO TALK TO THE INSTRUCTOR:
Students must enter through the first floor main door and stay in the bleecher area as there are no street shoes allowed on the deck.
POOL LOCKER USE:
Student may use the lockers at the pool during their class only or sign up for a locker for the semester, free of charge. Please use substantial locks on lockers. See instructor for details. Lockers used for the day only must be removed at the end of class. DO NOT PUT VALUABLES IN LOCKERS. Always be aware of your surroundings when in the locker room.
SHOWER USE:
Students are required to rinse in the shower before entering pool.
SWIMMING ATTIRE:
Only swimming suits are allowed in the pool. No cut-offs, shorts or leotards. No outside shoes will be allowed on the deck. 'Pool' Sandals are optional but must be specifically used for the pool only. Goggles and caps are highly recommended.
END OF CLASS:
All students must leave the pool at the end of class. No students may be allowed to swim after the class has ended.
POOL RULES:
Those not in compliance with the pool rules will not be allowed to swim. These rules include, but are not limited to the following:
- Only Students, faculty and staff properly enrolled in CCSF PE classes will be allowed in the pool
- No food is allowed at the pool or in the bleachers
- No street shoes are allowed on the deck.
- Plastic water bottles are okay
- No running on the deck
- No cell phones will be allowed in the immediate pool area
- Equipment that may interfere or injure other swimmers will not be allowed
- Don’t bring valuables to the pool area
