The Women’s Resource Center (WRC) is a student initiated and student run organization. It receives funding from the Associated Students and additional support from the Women’s Studies Department. The WRC started in Spring 1994, sharing its office with Bi-GALA (Bisexual, Gay and Lesbian Alliance) in the Student Union. In September 1994, the WRC moved into its current office in Smith Hall 104, in the cafeteria. It serves all students, both women and men. In addition to support groups and workshops, the WRC sponsors lectures, films, and other events of particular interest to women students. Project SURVIVE, the City College peer education dating violence prevention program, is affiliated with the WRC. An advisory board composed of administrators, faculty, staff and student assists the WRC in setting policy, maintaining a secure funding base, and publicizing the WRC on campus.

We are open from 9:00am – 2:00pm Monday through Friday. We may be closed for ten minutes during shift changes, so please be patient.
