Bone Marrow Drive
November 20th 2008
11:00am to 3:00 pm
3 main duties
This is part of the information from our contact person at the Drive (Ruby)
The way the drive works:
1) Registration / Education: Registrant comes up to the table and fills out the consent form. We will have volunteers helping make sure the registrants fill out all the correct information.
If provide social security number- we need 1 contact who does not live with the donor.
If provide driver's license only- we need 2 contacts who do not live with the donor and each other (see consent form in pdf).
Please direct any questions to the AADP rep, Ruby. The volunteers at the consent form station should also walk through the below attached document and tell all the registrants what they are signing up for. Our goal is to seek as many COMMITTED registrants as possible. Our goal is to avoid people who are signing up and don't know what it exactly entails.
2) Medical Review: Registrants go to Ruby for form medical review.
3) Swabbing: Registrants proceed to swabbing station We'll also have some volunteers here directing people on what to do.
