Welcome to the Omega chapter of Alpha Gamma Sigma, the California Community College Honor Society. Alpha Gamma Sigma (AGS) is an Honor Society with chapters at community colleges throughout California. The Omega chapter at City College was established on the Phelan campus in the 1930's with the purpose of promoting and recognizing academic excellence, providing cultural and social events for our members and volunteering our services to the college and the community at large. For over 60 years we have awarded scholarships, provided opportunities for students to build lasting friendships, and sponsored campus service projects.

News: February 2009
Welcome back everyone! On behalf of all the officers in AGS we would like to welcome all our returning member as well as our new ones! The first meeting was a great success with lots of new faces interested in the club. We already have lots of events to participate in.
On a personal note, as your webmaster I am deeply sorry for the lack of updates. Expect the site to be fully operational by the end of this week (2/18).
