This grant will allow the Health Science Department of City College of San Francisco to participate in a major California state initiative to establish the profession of health care interpretation.  The funds will be used to develop and publish a curriculum as well as conduct training of health care interpreter instructors.  This is a two-year grant with $100,000 allocated for the first year and $100,000 for the second year.
