As a Former EOPS student I reflect back on how the program was a wonderful resource. The members that worked in the program were very helpful when it came to the many different needs of the student community. When I was attending College of the Siskiyous I did not have the funds to pay for school and books at the same time. This problem led me to the Extended Opportunities Program and Services (EOPS). There besides the help I needed for books, I found so much more.

The program offered another source of advising, and did check ups to make sure that I was on the right path to success. With that help from the caring and focused members of EOPS I successfully graduated with my Associates of Arts degree from College of the Siskiyous in 2006. In 2008 I graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver in Colorado with my Bachelors in Psychology. Currently I am working at College of the Siskiyous as an advisor.
