Susan Kitazawa

I started at City College of San Francisco in 1970, taking classes to become a registered nurse. Later on, I took Spanish classes to better help my patients. After working as an RN with low income patients for 25 years, a vision disability ended my nursing career. Now in my 60s, I’m still at CCSF, still learning. I hope to combine my love of the creative arts with healing work to keep giving back to the community.
