My story is about a 45 year old woman that went back to school, after working a production craft job with my husband for 25 years. I was intimated by college but everyone was interested in my success. I took all the required courses, receiving a 4.0 GPA, graduating with honors, I also received a certificate in digital photography. The art and English were fantastic. Two poems were published and one art project went on to the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery. I have a studio where I teach painting, ceramics and photography. I also organize student art shows at the college, museums and all over southern California.
