STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) is a 2-year outreach and educational support program. In collaboration with MESA and other departments or programs, our goal is to increase the number of students traditionally underrepresented in the calculus-based science majors (e.g.: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, pre-med, etc.) and their transfer rates. Note: Architecture and Nursing are not part of the targeted majors.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! - funding for the STEM program has ended 10/31/2011. The MESA/STEM Center will continue to operate with reduced services. APASS will provide current STEM students with counseling and occasional updates on STEM events.
