ASAP GOALS

Attract motivated underrepresented high school and community college students to enter in science disciplines (STEM)
Provide students with tutorial and supplemental instructional support throughout the campus (STEM Center, AASP, LSN, APASS, LAC)
Strengthen student scientific skills, interest and understanding, and help students explore career options
Encourage students to develop study group and mentoring others
Encourage students to work with STEM advisor to successfully navigate the STEM courses and the transfer application process for highly competitive universities
Provide students opportunity to participate in the summer research project through NIH
Provide students opportunity to apply for NFS scholarship
