Welcome Back!

The beginning of the semester is the busiest time for Student Health. Please be patient with us, we will do our best to provide you with the services you need efficiently.

Students who need Tuberculosis (TB) clearance for employment please call (415) 239-3110 or stop by the Health Center to schedule an appointment.

Vaccines for Children Program (VFC)

VFC

The VFC program is a federally funded program that provides vaccines at no cost to children who might not otherwise be vaccinated because of inability to pay.

FREE vaccines including Gardasil (HPV), MMR, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Adacel, Tetanus for students 18 years old and under. Eligibility Requirments:

  • 18 yrs old & under
  • No health insurance
  • Medicaid (Medi-Cal)
  • Child Health & Disability Prevention Program
  • American Indians
  • Alaskan Natives

The best way to prevent the spread of flu and other diseases is to learn, teach, and practice healthy habits. These include:

  • Wash hands often
  • Cover your cough and sneeze
  • Stay home when sick
  • Clean and disinfect commonly used surfaces
  • Get vaccinated
  • Don't share personal items

Special Notice:

  • Electronic Health Records - Student Health Services is starting a NEW Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. We are leading the way to become "GREEN" and paperless. If you have an appointment, Self Check-in computers is now avaible at the clinic.
  • Due to severe budget cuts affecting City College campus wide, Student Health is unable to offer any services to Faculty and Staff members with the exception of TB Testing and Seasonal Flu shots which are offered to faculty and staff for $20. If you have any questions please call (415) 239-3110.
