Continuing Student Counseling Department

The Continuing Student Counseling Department (CSCD) addresses the needs of continuing students who have completed one year of college or more than 24 units at City College of San Francisco or another college or university. Students can work with CSCD counselors to discuss their academic goals, and develop or revise educational plans. They can also discuss the requirements needed for a certificate, a degree, or transfer to a 4-year institution. The CSCD offers both express counseling for short questions (15 minutes) and counseling by appointment (half hour or hour) for educational plans, degree requirement evaluations and more complicated academic planning issues including examination of transcripts from other colleges.
