Award

Two $500 scholarships will be given to students in the APASS Program.

Eligibility Requirements

• Currently involved in the Asian Pacific American Student Success (APASS) Program and be enrolled in a credit course
• Must currently have been on academic or progress probation in any of the semester(s) at CCSF
• Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.00 or better
• Show progress in academic courses at CCSF
• Completed 15 units
• California resident
• Have a financial need

Application must include the following attachments

• Two letters of recommendation
• Two page personal statement (please follow format in the instruction on page 2 of the application)
• A copy of your unofficial transcript(s) and courses in progress
  

DEADLINE: August 24, 2012

The Scholarship Office is pleased to announce a scholarship opportunity for students in Basic Skills courses. The $2,000 award, for books, supplies, transportation, childcare, and other college-related necessities, will be paid over four (4) semesters at $500 each semester to students who continue to meet the eligibility requirements. The scholarship is paid in one installment each semester.
