ALPHA GAMMA SIGMA
Alpha Gamma Sigma (AGS) is the California Community College Scholastic Honor Society. The CCSF AGS Omega chapter was established in 1938. It is dedicated to recognize academic excellence, foster students’ participation in community services, and sponsor campus service projects. AGS welcomes every student in CCSF.

BIBLOS
We are a reading club interested in contemporary French or Francophone literature and would like to explore recent works (within the last decade or so, and from living and breathing authors), all in the original French language. Over the years, we have spanned a broad and most interesting range of literary genres. As individuals, we form a strong community of readers sharing a passion for words, the music and rhythm of language, good stories and imperfect heroes.

Biotech
Our goal is to motivate students to pursue careers in Biotechnology. Club activities planned will familiarize students with Biotechnology careers, and provide a supportive network with other like-minded students. Members can learn more about different fields, and obtain information about employment opportunities and resources. Being a part of the Biotech Club will give students a chance to learn about the Biotech industry beyond the classroom.

Black Student Union (B.S.U.)
Promote cultural, social, financial, academic and political awareness. Provide peer support, professional development, networking and advocacy on behalf of the members. CCSF Engineering Club
To give students the opportunity to practice and develop hands on engineering skills, in area such as circuits, robotics, problem solving, teamwork, and mechanical and structural skills, in projects both large and small. In addition, to represent CCSF at various major events around the bay area, as well as compete at national tournaments such as RoboGames. The club will seek to present Engineering as a fun as well as scientific field, and encourage others in its pursuit.

CCSF Film and Sound Collective
The goal of the CCSF Film and Sound Collective is to bring together the talented filmmakers, directors, cinematographers, actors, screenwriters, artists and musicians of City College. This is a great opportunity to meet other students, to see what they are working on, and to help each other to finish projects. Students are welcome to bring a piece (finished or in progress) to screen at the meetings so that the group may spend time offering constructive feedback

CCSF Green Corps
The Green Corps is dedicated to implementing sustainability at CCSF through empowering students to become leaders in the green movement. Club Impact
The mission of club Impact is to detect and analyze a wide array of pressing and long-lasting domestic and international issues and try to find objective solutions to such issues through various activities—such as group discussions, debates, guest speakers, analyzing issues through various sources, and more-- that will ultimately raise awareness. It is important to note that the club believes that the UN has become an inefficient agency that is far from objective.

Our objective is to open a space where students can explore the causes of the violence that permeates our personal lives and our society. Community is a place for people from all cultural backgrounds who are interested in exploring non-violent personal and social transformation. This club seeks to offer students opportunities to discover peace through meditation and reflection on the direction of our lives, but also through direct non-violent social action.

To share resources and build a network of support for survivors of violence and trauma and those affected by it. International Socialist Club
Organize for local, regional, national and international social justice movements. Hold discussions on current political events, as well as on political history (i.e. 1960s civil rights movements). Hold discussions on the meaning of Marxism, and why we reject Stalinism and Maoism.

LESG Latina educational Support Group
The Latina Educational Support Group (LESG) is an approved Club of the Associated Student Council at City College of San Francisco. The club was started to address the needs of Latina students who had a very high drop-out rate at the time. This club is designed to give Latinas a place to come, meet other Latinas and learn how to be successful at City College of San Francisco. Students come together to talk; share strategies to overcome barriers to their success, and how to become a visible part of their college. They also come together to host events to introduce and celebrate the Latino culture and raise funds to attend conferences that focus on Latina leadership and important Latino educational and cultural issues.

Pacific Island and Arts club is to establish not only the talents of dancing and singing but the art of poetry and short story writing as well as art itself. Project SAFE
For the past decade, Project SAFE has led the peer education component of the HIV/STI Prevention Studies program at City College of San Francisco. Project SAFE activities and services over the years have included classroom presentations, Safer Sex Fairs, Transgender Awareness and World AIDS Day campus wide events and HIV counseling and testing. Project SAFE peer educators continue to provide a supportive environment in the Link Center: Linking Learning and Action Peer Activity Room, in which students share information and meet with other students to enhance health education related class projects. The educators provide HIV/STI prevention and services as well as community and campus resources including job referrals, health care resources, educational opportunities, and substance use/abuse, harm reduction and safer sex information.

Supporting Pacific Islanders in Learning Leadership
SPILL’s purpose is to instill leadership skills within students as a method of creating longevity for the Pacific Islander Club, to help students with leadership skills and to work towards building their full potential in SPILL and at City College of San Francisco.

Swing City Dancers
Swing City Dancers’ mission is to forge connections between City College dance students and the greater Bay Area social dance community. The club does that by first helping CCSF dance students to transfer what they are learning in the classroom into a social dance setting. The second strategy is encouraging people from the outside dance community to come to City College and see what a vibrant dance program the college offers, and how talented our students are.

We want to create an efficient Badminton club in order to develop a badminton culture. Because the problem with obesity today, we want students in our community would like to keep a healthy environmental activity. Our group would like refer more people to participate in our activities provided for the club. Our club will create a sense of teamwork and social networking. For example, making friends and meeting more people. Club members are allowed to be open minded, a place to share our ideas and enhance our passion for badminton. When students are done with their studies, they can come to the club to relax. In conclusion, students and people of all age are allowed to come to the club to enjoy

The CCSF TaeKwonDo club mission is to promote the many aspects of the Korean martial art TaeKwondo such as: Self Defense, Traditional Forms, Sparring, Strength & Conditioning. Yemeni Club
This club is designed to give Yemenis a place to come to help each other, meet other Yemenis and learn how to be successful at City College of San Francisco. Students come together to talk and share strategies to overcome barriers to their success, and how to become a visible part of their college. They also come together to host events to introduce and celebrate the Yemenis culture. We are also focusing on Yemeni leadership and important Yemeni educational and cultural issues. Also Our organization is open to anyone interested in learning about Yemenis culture.
