Commencement Ceremony

The Commencement Ceremony for City College of San Francisco takes place once a year, every spring. The ceremony is for all CCSF A.A. & A.S Degree Graduates, from all campuses. The ceremony usually hosts between 400-500 graduates and 3000 family and friends. We encourage all graduating students to participate in the ceremony. The achievement of higher education should never go unrecognized or unrewarded. So be proud of your accomplishment and know that the Office of Student Affairs welcomes you to participate in your Commencement Ceremony!                          

To better serve our graduates we require that you complete the registration form that is on page & of the Grad Newsletter to participate in the Commencement Ceremony.You can download the Newsletter in the right column of this page.

Registration is not only REQUIRED, but it is important to ensure the accurate spelling of each graduate's name in the commencement program booklet. Once you are registered, you will receive a confirmation receipt that you can can use to purchase your cap and gown package in the Bookstore Annex!

Graduates please reference the instruction in your Cap & Gown package for the day of the Ceremony.
