OSA Event Planning Services

The Office of Student Affairs is responsible for the planning and execution of several important college wide events. As such, over the years we have developed a few methods and protocols to make our event planning a bit smoother and manageable. One of the major events we handle is the  CCSF College-wide Commencement Ceremony which is usually anywhere between a 3-5 thousand person event. In recent years it is no secret that our budget has been impacted by the economical turmoil affecting our state. As a result we have all had to "tighten our belts" and save money for our departments in all ways possible.     

It is important to remember that we function as an institution thanks to our students. How do you find a balance between offering our students and college community quality functions & events that meet our current financial needs? Very simply. We are here to assist all of CCSF with your event planning needs. In fact our staff specializes in small and large scale event planning and we want to extend our services to our fellow departments.  

First, we learn the unique personality and culture of the department. Then, we meet with you and asses what your event goals are, and research the history of your past events. We then present you with a concise, detailed, creative proposal, accompanied by a thorough budget summary.
