What is the Office of Student Affairs?

The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) commonly referred to as "the Dean of Student's office" is here to help with all student issues and concerns. We can refer you to the proper place for specific needs, but we are happy to answer general inquiries as well. The OSA likes to think of our students as clients, and we pride ourselves on our client service. We feel that your college experience should be an enjoyable one, free of confusion and added stress. We strive to make the college experience easier for you as a student, and in doing so we hope to contribute to your success as a student. The OSA is here to administer and support various departments and programs.

We are focused on maintaining and producing programs that enable students to discover options and explore opportunities. Student Athletics, Concerts & Lectures, Mentoring & Service Learning, Student Activities are all an integral part of those services. We strive to maintain a solid Code of Student Conduct. In doing so, we are attempting to ensure to the best of our ability that City College of San Francisco is a safe and protected institution of learning. We want our students to thrive, and in order for them to do that, we feel it is necessary for the college to be a safe environment. Part of our mission is to make CCSF a place where students are well informed of not only their rights, but also their responsibilities as students as well. The office of Student Advocacy, Rights, & Responsibilities is our way to make sure this happens.
