New Student Counseling
Are you a brand new student to City College of San Francisco? Are you student (from CCSF or another college) with less than 24 units? If this is you and you need counseling check out new student counseling.
Continuing Student Counseling (if you have over 24 units)
Students who have 24 or more units and need assists with transfer, graduation, choosing a major, re-entering college, changing careers or other academic advice.
Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS)
EOPS is designed to assist low income at risk students by providing services to promote their retention, graduation, transfer and employment. EOPS offers academic, career and Personal counseling, educational planning and academic progress monitoring, peer advising and mentoring, priority registration,
Guardian Scholars
This Program is to help students exiting the foster care system by providing comprehensive support programs to help you complete a GED, achieve an A.A. degree, complete a certificate program or transfer to a four year institution.
Homeless At-Risk Transitional (HARTS)
Provides access, advocacy, resources, and support for homeless, formerly homeless, and at-risk students within the college, and for those potential students in similar situations who wish to return to the educational setting.

Gateway to College
Gateway to College is a program at City College of San Francisco that serves students between the ages of 16-20, who have dropped out of high school in San Francisco or may not graduate. Students take courses that help earn credit towards their high school diploma and a college degree or certificate at the same time.

Single Stop
A program that helps students at City College of San Francisco receives basic necessities such as, food stamps, health care coverage or cash assistance.
AB540
AB540 is a state law which exempts certain non-resident students from paying non-resident tuition. To qualify for the exemption, a student must have attended a minimum of three years of high school in California. The student must also have graduated from high school in California or received a High School Equivalency Certificate in California, a GED in California or California Certificate of Proficiency.
International Student Services
Our International Student Programs encompass Academic and Intensive English Programs. There are currently over 1200 students from 90 countries studying at our various campuses.
Veterans Center
City College of San Francisco Veteran Educational Transition Services (VETS) center is to serve veteran students with the highest level of efficiency and dedication in order to enhance their transition from military life into careers through education.
CalWORKS
Helps potential, current, and former welfare recipients attending City College of San Francisco.
Latino Services Network (LSN)
LSN offers bilingual (Spanish/English) and bicultural counseling services to City College of San Francisco students. LSN is a network of programs, services and individuals dedicated to the success of Latinas/os at City College of San Francisco.
African American Scholastics Programs (AASP)
AASP Provides academic, career and personal counseling to all students who utilize AASP programs and services. Students meet with academic counselors on a regular basis to reate educational and career plans and monitor their progress.
Asian Pacific American Student Success Program (APASS)
Provides support to Asian and Pacific Islander students in pursuit of academic success through early intervention and effective support services.' APASS promotes individual growth and personal success through a culturally sensitive environment; recognizes cultural diversity within the Asian and Pacific Islander communities; and fosters unity within the college community and beyond
Disabled Students Programs & Services (DSPS)
If you are students with a disability look in to the DSPS program. The DSPS staff consists of faculty members, counselors, disability specialists, technology and media specialists, instructional assistants, interpreters, and office staff. This program can work with to plan support services that will help you move toward your education and goals.

CCSF provides an extensive range of student services through its many student development, counseling and support programs and offices. These academic, financial and health services are designed to support all of our students needs so that they can succeed in all aspects of college life.
