Library Cards

Student ID

Your Student ID is also your LIBRARY CARD! To check out books, access our articles, use our computers, reserve a group study room and other library services you'll need your Student ID!  Don't forget to bring it with you!

Libraries

CCSF Libraries

There are 6 City College Libraries: Rosenberg (Ocean), Statler (Ocean), Downtown, John Adams, Mission, and Southeast Campus libraries.

Come and visit one of the CCSF Libraries. Ask us for help in finding books, articles, information for your class assignments, term papers, and reports. We may also be able to help you with any other questions you may have! Your current Student ID can be used any of these libraries.  Librarians are available during open hours to answer your questions.

Books, textbooks, and other library materials

Books

We have books, and may have textbooks for some of your classes.  We have also have eBooks.  These are books that you can access online with an internet connection.  In addtion, we have videos, CDs, DVDs and audiocassettes.  Your current CCSF Student ID is also your library card.

Articles from newspapers, magazines, and journals

Articles

The CCSF libraries subscribe to databases that provide full text articles from magazines, newspapers, and scholarly journals.  Periodical databases are the primary tool used to find academic and peer-reviewed journal articles. You can access them on campus or at home with a current CCSF student ID.

Computers, word processing, printers and more

Services

Computers & Wireless: All CCSF Libraries have computers for students with a valid CCSF ID card. Wireless access is available in most of our libraries.

Copying, Faxing and Printing: Black and white photocopying and printing is available at all CCSF Libraries.  Rosenberg Library offers a color printer, color photocopier and fax service.

Places to Study: Each CCSF Library has desks and tables for individual study. Most libraries have group study rooms that may be reserved in person only at a library Circulation Desk.
