Can I enroll in more than one class?
If you have a 2.0 GPA and have completed more than 120 high school credits, you can enroll in a maximum of 3 units per semester. If you have a 2.0 GPA and have completed 204 high school credits, you can enroll in a maximum of 6 units per semester.
What do I do if I want to take an additional class?
You should attend the first class meeting in order to see if seats are available in the course. Many students enroll and do not show up the 1st day, leaving seats available. If there are available seats you will need to obtain an add sticker from instructor, complete a "SPECIAL H.S. ADD/DROP" form and submit it to Conlan Hall 107 at the Ocean Campus (have your CCSF student ID # handy). You must add by the ADD deadline. *The class you are adding must be listed on your principal consent form. If it is not you will need to submit a new principal consent form to Admissions and Records in Conlan Hall 107.
What do I do if I no longer wish to take a class?
If you received notification that you are enrolled and are on your instructor's class list you will need to complete a “SPECIAL H.S. DROP” form available in Conlan Hall 107 (have your ID # handy). You must drop the class by the drop deadline (about 3 weeks in to the semester) to avoid getting a “W” or an "F" on your transcript. If you would like to drop a class after the drop deadline, please contact the CCSF counselor with this program. If you are sure you were never enrolled and did not officially add the class you do not need to complete a drop form.
What do I do if I want to take a class that isn't in your Academy/Pathway Program of Study booklet?
Academy/Pathway Students are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the courses listed in our program of study but they are allowed to take other CCSF classes. Students enrolling in non-CTE/Academy/Pathway classes will be responsible for purchasing their own textbooks as well as completing and submitting the necessary paperwork (i.e., add forms, consent forms) to Admissions and Records.
Registration of concurrently enrolled high school students will be processed at the end of the pre-registration period after college students have enrolled. Students will receive enrollment confirmation to their e-mail address. IMPORTANT: Concurrently enrolled high school students and home schooled students may only enroll in classes that are Associate Degree applicable, and are restricted from enrolling in Physical Education courses.
More information on general concurrent enrollment can be found here: http://www.ccsf.edu/NEW/content/dam/ccsf/documents/admissions/forms/hsonlineapp.pdf
