The CCSF Shared Governance organization consists of three systems, each with a set of permanent committees. All members of the City College community - students, faculty, classified and administrators - are represented in these committees. The committees may establiish sub-committees and task forces, wherever needed and appropriate.
Technology Advisory Communities

In support of the Chief Technology Officer’s appointed goal to reduce both the costs and size of CCSF’s Technology Division, while at the same time developing new technologies to maintain the college’s successful operations, the CTO consults with many sources from the CCSF community. Together, we make it happen!
The Information Technology Policies Committee is the central planning and policy coordination committee, established within the framework of the Collegial Governance System and serving as the focal point for administrative and academic technology issues.
The Teaching Learning and Technology Roundtable recommends policies for the use of technology in instructional support and student services.
The Technology Advisory Group (TAG) supports the overall goals of the Technology Division (formerly ITS) re-organization by:
- Advising and supporting TD in communicating with the college community;
- Advising and supporting TD in navigating the College-wide system of shared governance and decision-making; and,
- Reviewing technologies under consideration by TD in order to recommend appropriate campus groups to consult on guideline and service aspects.
The Technology Advisory Group is made of up chancellor-appointed members and meets monthly.
