RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT

The purpose of the Grants & Resource Development Office is to equip City College with the necessary resources to meet evolving and diverse needs with exceptional educational programming.

Now, more than ever, if the College is to continue to serve San Francisco's diverse needs, we must seek alternative resources to ensure that we achieve our mission of excellence and student success.

We can help with all phases of proposal development, grant implementation, and grant management, including

• identifying funding sources
• designing programs
• preparing applications:  developing budgets, writing and/or editing proposal narratives, completing required forms, obtaining appropriate signatures, and submitting applications
• submitting necessary Board resolutions and Board reports related to grants
• assisting in grant management with respect to budget administration, completing necessary forms, developing and processing subrecipient agreements and consultant contracts, and serving as a liaison to funders, programs, project partners, and the CCSF District Business Office

To maximize the College's success in securing competitive grant funding, we have procedures in place with respect to seeking and applying for funding from external sources.  Review these guidelines before you get started:

• Applying for Private Foundation funding
• Applying for Government funding
