TRC Library

The TRC Library is designed to facilitate and enhance professional productivity and innovation. The staff and specialists here are prepared to assist faculty in a wide array of subjects and tasks and provide referrals to other sources of information and expertise when necessary. We've got all of the latest ESL and ABE textbooks available for faculty use. Teachers may browse through materials in the library and/or check them out for up to three weeks. Instructors may also borrow or renew textbooks via campus interoffice mail.

In Fall 1994, the noncredit sector of the ESL department adopted the California State Department of Education's Model Standards curriculum. Since then, we have been leveling textbooks in the library to coincide with our new curriculum levels. Here is the latest book list in doc format: 2010 Book List, and here's the textbook evaluation and leveling form.

In addition to videos, the TRC Library has audio cassettes available for teacher use. You can view the list alphabetically or by level:
