Communication from the Ed Tech Department to faculty teaching online classes is done via the email@example.com list-serv. Emails include information such as class loads, Insight, roll-over specifics, etc.
Information about Fall 2013
Online Classes for Fall 2013
All full semester online classes will open on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 8 am. Students are responsible for checking their instructor's website for important class details. Links to instructor websites can be found in the Class Schedule.
Log in/Password Information
Students new to Insight who are enrolled in regular start online and tech-enhanced classes will receive an email with the subject, "Welcome to Insight" sent to their CCSFmail address from firstname.lastname@example.org with log in and password information. Please let your students know that they may need to log in to CCSFmail if they do not know their password.
Adding Students to Insight
Students who have registered for an online class between June 17, 2013 and August 9, 2013 will be added to Insight on August 9, 2013. Beginning the first day of classes, students will be added to Insight twice a day during the add/drop period. After the add deadline, students will be added once a day in the morning.
Students will be added to late-start classes with the initial upload. If you would prefer a more recent classlist reflected in Insight, please email Jose Gil, email@example.com.
