Job Title: Lab Aide / College Work Study
Wage/Salary: $9.00/hr
Days/Hours: 8 hours/week to start (8a-10p M-Th; 8a-5p Fridays);
Pending funding, more hours may be available as semester progresses.

Qualifications:
- Reliable and prompt
- Must be currently enrolled in BCST 160 (2 units) or have completed three semesters of BCST 160 with a final grade of C or higher
- Must be enrolled in a total of 6 or more units at CCSF
- 2.0 (higher preferred) grade point average
- Good English communication skills (reading, writing, telephone)
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to understand and follow written and/or oral directions.
- Preference is given to students who have completed and are currently enrolled in media production courses.
Desirable:
- Familiar with and good at navigating around Ocean Campus
- Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds
- Ability to run uphill
- Familiarity with audio/video concepts and/or some technical background
- Completion of and/or concurrent enrollment in 3 or more units within the Broadcast Electronic Media Arts program (esp. BCST 120, BCST 140, and/or BCST 145).

Job Description:
- Under the direction of Broadcast Media Services Classified staff, paid interns deliver, set up, and pick up video production, recording, and playback equipment throughout the Ocean Campus.
- Interns assist with Broadcast Electronic Media Arts student equipment issue and open lab check-in & check-out.
- Interns assist in EATV/BMS/BEMA clerical duties, assist with district audio production, video production, and equipment and production facility maintenance as needed.
- Related duties may be assigned.
