Internships

BEMA also has a long-established internship program. The State Chancellor's Office requires that students enrolled in internship classes are required to be concurrently enrolled in additional CCSF classes.

College Internships (BCST 160) are often paid internships with on-site work experience within CCSF. Examples include Broadcast Media Services, EATV, and the Marketing and Public Information Office. Students may apply for paid internships as soon as the first semester of study.

Industry Internships (BCST 165) are recommended for students who have completed a minimum of six units of BEMA production classes. These are generally unpaid internships at television stations, radio stations, sound recording studios, and production companies.
