Spend a semester in Madrid, a true European capital, known throughout the world for its museums and monuments, which reflect Spain's proud history. Immerse yourself in the Spanish language and the culture of the "city that never sleeps". Madrid is your classroom as you study Spanish Language, and Conversation at La Universidad Complutense de Madrid, one of the most prestigious universities in Spain. Students may also take classes in Art History and the Culture and Civilization of Spain, which will be taught in both a classroom setting and on-site at museums, monuments and historical sites within and outside the city of Madrid.

Students participating in the Semester in Madrid program can choose to live in either furnished apartments or in homestays with local families.

This program is offered during the spring semester, and provides transferable credit from CCSF for courses completed overseas. Also, students enrolled in an eligible program may be able to receive state and federal financial aid and scholarships to help defray the costs of study abroad.
