Player Profiles

Ivan Dorsey – Sophomore

Ivan was a big part of last season’s state championship team as he had 15 double-digit scoring games. Ivan came up big in the State Championship Semifinals, scoring 14 points off the bench against Saddleback College to help the Rams reach the Championship game. Ivan graduated from Riordan High School leaving as the record holder in three-pointers made and three-point percentage. As a senior playing in the toughest conference in the state, he led the West Catholic Athletic League in scoring averaging 22 points per game. These numbers earned him 1st Team All-WCAL and 1st Team All-City. Upon completion of his AA degree, Ivan plans on attending a four-year university on a basketball scholarship.

Thomas Cooper - Sophomore

Thomas was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he attended Tyner Academy High School and had an exceptional career. Thomas made All-League two seasons was named the Most Valuable Player two years in a row in his league. Thomas enjoys working out, reading the bible, and playing XBOX 360. Thomas plans on attaining an AA degree and plans to transfer to four-year University, majoring in psychology.

McKenzie Moore – Freshman

McKenzie is a gym rat that grew up in the bay area and played for College Park High School in Pleasant Hill. McKenzie dominated the Diablo Valley Athletic League where he was named the Most Valuable Player and averaged 22 points, six rebounds, and six assists per game. McKenzie is undecided on his major, but plans to transfer to a four-year university upon completing his AA degree at City College of San Francisco.

Raysean Hariston - Freshman

Raysean was born in Columbus, Ohio and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina where he attended E.E. Smith High School. Raysean averaged 16 points and nine rebounds on the varsity squad at E.E. Smith. In his time off the court, Raysean enjoys cooking, reading, swimming, and turning tables as a disc jockey. Raysean plans to transfer to a four-year university, majoring in business administration, focusing on marketing management.

Joseph Slocum - Sophomore

Joseph grew up in San Francisco, California and finished his last two years of high school at Vallejo High School after attending his Sacred Heart Cathedral during his freshman and sophomore years. Slocum had a memorable senior year at Vallejo, where he was named the Solano County Athletic Conference Most Valuable Player and first-team all-league. Off the court, Joseph enjoys reading, hanging out with his family, and working out.  Joseph plans to transfer to a four-year university majoring in business.

Jamal Ford - Freshman

Jamal was born and raised in Oakland, California. Jamal attended Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep here in San Francisco and was nominated for the McDonalds game as a senior. Jamal was honored as a member of the All-San Francisco first-team, and was also named as one of the top west coast basketball players in 2010. Jamal enjoys reading, music, and swimming off the court. Jamal has intentions on transferring to a four-year university, majoring in sports management.

JaVaughn Shannon – Freshman

JaVaughn was born and raised in San Francisco, CA and attended Mission High School here in San Francisco where he had a tremendous senior season. He helped Mission win the city championship in the 2009-2010 season and was named 1st Team All-City and 2nd Team All-San Francisco. Last season, JaVaughn redshirted on the Rams State Championship team. JaVaughn plans on attaining an AA degree and plans to transfer to four-year University, majoring in business.

Sean Smith - Freshman

Sean grew up in Sacramento, where he attended McClatchy High School and was named league Most Valuable Player. He was also named All City and All Metro. Sean enjoys playing video games, most notably NBA 2K11. Sean plans on attaining an AA degree and plans to transfer to four-year University, majoring in acting.

Myron Respress - Sophomore

Myron was born and raised in Buffalo, New York, where he attended Niagara Falls High School. Myron and his twin brother Maurice led Niagara Falls High to the Niagara Falls League Championship. Myron started for the Rams in the State Championship game, where he played exceptional post defense and helped the Rams win their first State Championship game since 1962. Upon attaining his AA degree, Myron wants to follow the footsteps of his older brother Damone, who played at Syracuse University and in the NBA for the Philadelphia 76ers. Myron has signed to play at Southern Texas University, majoring in Business and Sports Management.

Stuart Wesonga - Freshman

Stuart played his high school hoops at San Marin in Novato and had a prolific senior season. Not only did he lead San Marin to the Marin County Athletic League Championship, Stuart led them to the North Coast Section Division III Championship as well. Stuart was named the Northern California Division III player of the year and was honored as the ESPN Rise State player of the week during the season. Off the court, Stuart enjoys running, nature, and hiking and plans on majoring in Criminal Justice.

Garrett Moon – Sophomore

Garrett was born and raised in San Francisco, CA and was a member of last season’s State Championship team in which he started half of the Rams games. Garrett also made the All-Tournament Team at the San Jose City College Tournament. Garrett graduated from Wallenberg High School and during his senior season, he was named the Academic Athletic Association Player of the Year. After leading his team to the league championship game, Garrett was named 1st Team All-San Francisco and 1st Team All-City. Garrett plans to attain his AA degree and transfer to a four-year university, majoring in Marine Biology.

Jarod Tillman - Sophomore

Jarod was born and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina and attended E.E. Smith High School. Jarod was a redshirt on last season’s State Championship team. In his time outside the gym, Jarod enjoys practicing sign language. Jarod is undecided on his major, but plans on transferring to a four-year university.

Kanu Aja - Redshirt

Kanu comes to San Francisco from Baltimore, Maryland, where he attended Cardinal Gibbons High School. Kanu made his leagues All-Star Game as a senior. Kanu enjoys reading and weightlifting off the court with plans to transfer to a four-year university, majoring in pre-law. Kanu will be redshirting this season for the Rams.

Delon Wright - Freshman

Delon grew up in Los Angeles, California, where he attended Levzinger High School. Delon had an exceptional season as a senior, earning the Division I CIF Player of the Year award and making the second team All-State. Delon, the younger brother of NBA Championship and current Golden State Warrior Dorrell Wright, enjoys playing XBOX 360. Delon plans on attaining an AA degree and plans to transfer to four-year University, majoring in business.

Namuji Madoshi - Redshirt

Namuji was born in raised in Pittsburg, California and took his game to Antioch, where he attended Antioch High School. As a senior, Namuji was named honorable mention in the tough Bay Valley Athletic League. Namuji enjoys nothing more than just being in the gym. Namuji plans on transferring to four-year university, majoring in business. Namuji will be redshirting this season for the Rams.
